Blessing Box – Take What You need, Bring What You Can
You have probably seen those “little free libraries” some people install in their front yards. The idea is for every book you add to the library, you can take a book from the library. In this way, you can become a library member by adding only one book. When you are done reading any book you have taken, you can return it, and take another book in its place. There will always be books in the library. And each member gets to read new books.
The idea of a blessing box is similar, only it would require more of a commitment and continuous donation. Something as small as this blessing box can help to feed several members of the community, who may be struggling to afford buying groceries. All it takes is for the neighbors to buy one extra product for the blessing box every time they go grocery shopping.
I hope we get to see more of these!
